Reflecting on creating a blog, I have to say that it was much easier than I thought. I think the hardest part for me was deciding what I should post. I know that cool things happen in my classroom, but sometimes I do not realize others might want to learn from me. I am working on it, and am looking forward to sharing what goes on in Third Grade.
There are many blog sites out there. I picked Blogger.com because it had high ratings and reviews said it was easy to use. The one thing that drove me crazy is trying to figure out how to create a subscribe button. I am still trying to figure it out! If I were to give any advice to future bloggers, I would say just jump in and give it a try!
I used Blogger too. You did a great job. It automatically creates the subscribe button.
ReplyDeleteJust keep playing around and you will figure it out. It takes a while to get into the groove. There are lots of great video tutorials on how to add features to your blog, too. Great job on getting started!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great resource! As teachers, librarians, or anyone in the education field, it is good to share ideas with what works for our students. We are all in this together, so I love being able to find places to get great ideas to use with my own students.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to write and keep up with a weekly blog. I tend to get so busy doing other things that I forget about it but I do follow and read other ones. Anytime someone posts what works for them, I am onboard! Thank you for sharing!
