This week I learned about digital publishing. Digital publishing is so important for librarians to understand since it is a great way to tell the community what is going on in the library. For my digital publishing project, I created a newsletter through Smore. If you have never tried Smore before, I highly recommend checking it out. It is very user friendly and has a lot of great features. You can embed YouTube videos, add links to websites, and include pictures. Once you are done creating your newsletter, you can easily send the link to anyone. Here is my newsletter on digital footprints.

I haven’t heard of Smore before, but it looks really interesting! I can see how this would be a great addition for a library. Thanks for sharing it. I’m going to have to play around with it.
